To the Esteemed Xcellorator and Development Team,We are presenting to you a comprehensive reform plan for the Pet System. Composed of four independent modules, this plan aims to systematically address the issues of the pet system, such as low practicality, single functionality, and lack of endgame value. It will also be deeply integrated with the “Legendary Core” system to deliver an unprecedented depth of gameplay.
Module 1: Basic Function Reform – Auto-Hunting
– Mechanism: Add a new [Command Slot] to the pet interface. Placing 1 [Mutagen] into this slot will permanently unlock the [Auto-Hunting] command for the pet.
– Effect: When activated, the pet will actively attack all creatures of the “Animal” faction (e.g., cows, sheep, deer) within its field of vision, automatically collecting resources for the player.
– Value: With a low technical threshold, it directly enhances the pet’s practicality in daily gameplay.
Module 2: Gameplay Dimension Expansion – Introduction of Support Pets
– Mechanism: Introduce support pets, transforming pets from tools for attacking enemies into reliable companions.
– Design Proposal (Taking “Shield Sprite” as an Example):
– Positioning: Team Guardian
– Core Skill: Unity Shield
– At regular intervals, apply a shield that can block one damage hit to all friendly units (players and other pets) on the field.
– Shields cannot be stacked; a new shield will overwrite the old one.
– Progression System (Based on Level):
– Shield Cooldown: 30 seconds at Level 1, decreasing by 0.5 seconds per level, with a minimum cooldown of 8 seconds (achieved when the pet reaches Level 44).
– Advanced Effect (Level 45 and Above): When the shield is broken, it will restore health to all friendly units.
– Levels 45-49: Health restoration amounts are 20, 40, 60, 80, and 100 points respectively.
– Level 50: Restores 120 health points.
– (If the proposal to increase the maximum level is adopted in the future): For each level above 50, an additional 10 points of health restoration will be added.
Module 3: Differentiation of Top-Tier Pets – Dragon-Specific Innate Skills
– Mechanism: Endow top-tier dragon pets with inherent passive skills, which do not require any items to unlock.
– Effects:
– Ice Dragon: Its attacks have a chance to slow down or freeze enemies.
– Fire Dragon: Its attacks have a chance to ignite enemies, causing continuous damage.
– Thunder Dragon: Its attacks have a chance to trigger chain lightning, bouncing to multiple enemies.
– Value: Puts an end to the “reskinning” situation of top-tier pets and endows them with unique identities and strategic value.
Module 4: Endgame Pursuit – Pet Legendary Core System
– Synthesis: At the Workbench, synthesize 1 [Weapon Legendary Core] with 1 [Mutagen] to obtain the [Pet Legendary Core], which has a new name and new effects.
– Enhancement: Use the [Pet Legendary Core] in the newly added [Pet Enhancement Station] to permanently grant the pet a powerful passive skill.
11 Core Effects for Boss Pets:
1. Swamp Golem – [Titan Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 15% chance to trigger life leech, converting 50% of the damage dealt into its own health.
2. Phoenix – [Phoenix Core]: When the pet dies, it has a 30% chance to revive with 100% health restored.
3. Dragon Lord – [Elder Dragon Core]: While the pet is on the field, it grants the player a 3% damage boost stack every 5 seconds, lasting for 3 seconds, with a maximum of 3 stacks.
4. Mati – [Terror Core]: When the pet attacks an enemy with more than 40% health remaining, it has a 20% chance to fear the enemy for 2 seconds. The pet deals an additional 25% damage to enemies in a feared state.
5. Dark Boss – [Oblivion Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 10% chance to apply “Corrosion,” causing the enemy to take damage equal to 70% of the pet’s attack power per second for 4 seconds. 50% of this damage is used to heal the player.
6. Shiva – [Venom Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 15% chance to poison the enemy, dealing a total of 150% of the pet’s attack power as damage over 6 seconds (cannot be stacked).
7. Fire Dragon – [Hellfire Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 25% chance to ignite the target, dealing additional fire damage equal to 15% of the pet’s attack power over 3 seconds.
8. Ice Dragon – [Glacier Core]: Every 8 seconds, the pet generates an ice shield for the player that can absorb 100 damage points. When the shield breaks, it has a 100% chance to freeze surrounding enemies for 1.5 seconds.
9. Aragog – [Cocoon Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 15% chance to fire a cobweb, binding the enemy for 3 seconds with a 100% success rate.
10. Hydra – [Hydra Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 5% chance to summon a small Hydra to assist in battle, lasting for 10 seconds. The small Hydra has 30% of the pet’s attributes.
11. Ashkore – [Storm Core]: The pet’s attacks have a 20% chance to summon lightning, dealing damage equal to 150% of the pet’s attack power, and a 50% chance to stun the target for 1 second.
Conclusion
Through these four modules, this proposal builds a complete future for the Pet System, covering everything from basic functions to gameplay expansion, and further to top-tier differentiation and endgame customization. All designs make full use of existing in-game resources, with a clear structure and controllable development risks, which can greatly enhance the gaming experience and replayability.
We earnestly request the team to consider this comprehensive plan.
