    Gold blocks are too common and coins are way too easy to mass produce and makes early game too easy.

    I propose to make melting 1 gold bar into 1 coin instead of 2, and make gold blocks rarer in structures

    I agree about the distribution of gold blocks, but I think you can make an anvil an additional slot for minted coins.
