It’s an idea that has stuck in my head for so long now.The game already has “the magic” as a mechanic:Mana,magic damage,a lot of different staffs etc. The different spells that the player could cast would fit right in.For those who don’t know what a spell is, the example can be a fireball or an ice spike that the caster shoots out of his hand, but the amount of variations of spells is not limited to just elements, spells can summon a weapon in your hand or even some kind of a familiar, like a dragon, but not in its full might.
